ShanieseSha Love, Clinical Intern

$0.00

I have worked in community support and mental health-related roles for the past seven years, helping individuals and families navigate stress, relationship challenges, mental health concerns, housing barriers, and major life transitions.

My therapeutic approach is rooted in Integrative Systemic Therapy (IST), which focuses on understanding relational patterns, environmental stressors, and the experiences each person brings into the dynamic rather than identifying one individual as “the problem.” I also use sex therapy, art therapy, and narrative therapy. My clinical interests include working with couples, families, children, adolescents, and teens, with particular interest in postpartum depression, intimacy and infidelity.

ABOUT ME

I am a homebody who would identify as an ambivert. I enjoy journaling, catching up on my favorite shows, being a self-proclaimed movie critic, and spending quality time with friends and loved ones. I often make room for intentional rest, self-reflection, and doing my own inner work so I can show up grounded and fully present for the people I support. I also tend to hyper-fixate on topics that spark my curiosity and can spend hours deep-diving into research, whether it’s psychology, relationship dynamics, family history, or a random internet rabbit hole. I enjoy walks by the lake, listening to old-school R&B with my spouse, watching anime, and being a supportive godmother to four amazing girls.
