Growing up isn’t easy
From school stress to social pressure to changing emotions, pre-teens and teens today face challenges that can feel overwhelming. Even the most supportive parents sometimes notice their child struggling and aren’t sure how to help.
You might be seeing:
Frequent meltdowns, mood swings, or anger
Withdrawal or loss of interest in friends and activities
Anxiety about school or performance
Changes in sleep, appetite, or motivation
Low self-esteem or perfectionism
Difficulty focusing, organizing, or following through
Big emotional reactions that feel out of proportion
Conflict with parents, siblings, or teachers
At Evergreen Counseling, we create a safe, welcoming space where young people can talk openly, learn coping skills, and feel seen for who they are.
We believe adolescences thrive when they feel understood, not judged. Our therapists combine clinical experience with warmth and creativity to help youth express themselves in ways that feel natural and safe.
