How much opportunity do you get to truly know yourself?

Within the pressures of everyday life, getting in touch with your values and desires is rarely prioritized. And when we lack this connection, it can make it more difficult to find meaning in life and understand our place in the world. I seek to provide my clients the space for self-discovery through my use of values work and mindfulness practice. Our mental health does not exist in a vacuum. I emphasize the impact of societal and cultural influences on my clients as well. We will work together to better understand the factors that have shaped who you are today and how these patterns continue to appear in your life. We will work to better understand and accept the factors that you cannot control and distinguish them from the responsibility you have to yourself. I am a multiculturally-focused, neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ friendly therapist. The work we do will not be in search of meeting a goal as much as helping you determine the goals that matter to you.

ABOUT ME

I am a graduate student at Northwestern University. I have worked previously for The Family Institute free mental health clinic. I am a politically active person and love any opportunity to work directly with my community. In my free time, I love watching movies (especially horror or thrillers) and logging more hours on my Stardew Valley farm. My time spent with my chosen family is the most restorative time for me when I am burnt out. They provide me the baseline to be the supportive therapist I want to be for my clients.
