Being a human is difficult these days, and sometimes we need some extra help to navigate our lives. As someone who has gone through my own mental health struggles in the past, I know just how important it is to care for your emotional wellbeing.

As your therapist, my goal is to create a safe environment where you can freely express yourself and receive support tailored to your needs. My approach to therapy is integrative, pulling from various modalities that make sense for you – because there is more than one way to heal. I have training and experience in standard therapies like CBT and mindfulness. For those of you seeking treatment for trauma, I am able to offer EMDR as a trained practitioner. And because I believe that traditional, Western therapies aren’t the only way to address mental health, I am happy to note that I am a Reiki practitioner and can integrate energy work into our sessions if that is something you are interested in.

I work with adults and teens who are struggling with ADHD, trauma, anxiety, panic attacks, depression, abuse, life transitions, grief, family issues, peer relationships, self-esteem, and stress among other issues. As an Indian American, I also have a heart for working with people from the South Asian diaspora. I know from personal experience that mental health issues can be stigmatized within the culture, which is why it’s so important for me to create a safe, supportive space for fellow South Asian Americans to fully be themselves.

No issue is too big or too small to discuss. If it’s bothering you, then therapy can help you to work through it. Together, we will help motivate you to make the changes that can transform your wellbeing. I believe that your story matters, and I feel honored to listen to your story and to help you to live your best life.

About Me

In my free time, I love spending time with my family and friends. Our time together is often filled with good food and lots of laughter. I’m a first generation Indian American. Nurturing and celebrating my cultural heritage is important to me – including keeping up with language (I speak conversational Telugu – feel free to speak this during our sessions!) While I do enjoy social activities, I feel most at peace in my home. I like to read, listen to music, and watch comfort shows and movies. I also want to travel more and hope to visit some places on my list such as Greece, Egypt, and South Korea. As a therapist it is important that I take care of my own mental health, so I make sure to do my own therapy and self-reflection.
