Master’s Level Clinician

The world we live in is filled with suffering and beauty.

I believe therapy is a space where we explore the pain and the joy of human existence in a deep and meaningful way. I was 15 when I started going to therapy. This experience was a truly formative and rich experience for me. I know the vulnerability and courage it takes to do self-work.

As a proud Armenian-American, I openly discuss my Armenian background as a culture that has been shaped by tremendous suffering as well as much strength and resilience. This background shapes my values to stand up for any and all oppressed persons or groups while embodying and showing others what it means to love all people in truth. I believe this goal to be a direct reflection of my faith background as I strive to live by the depth of its meaning in my own everyday life.

My approach with my clients tends to be direct but I intentionally leave space for you to feel whatever comes up for you as we delve into the different parts of who you are. My therapy room is a space where you and I get to delve into the realness of who you are without shame or judgment. It can be challenging to look at our internal world and acknowledge the reality of our lived experiences, but as someone who has done (and continues to do) that work I can say this confidently: it is truly life changing to face yourself with courage.

I believe that in order to discover the underlying of where your struggles are stemming from we need to be curious about your internal motivations. One of the tools I use for this self reflection work is the Enneagram. I am Enneagram knowledgeable and at times this can be a very helpful tool in the journey of self-awareness.

Maybe you’re needing to try and wade into the depths of self-work, the deep, meaningful questions of existence, suffering or loss, who you are, or finding your place in this beautiful, painful world. Perhaps you really need a safe space to express and explore what burdens you, perhaps issues that come with real immediate, daily struggles.

I would be honored to sit with you in the depths of your pain, laugh with you in your genuine joy, and empower you to live your fullest life.

ABOUT ME

In and out of the therapy room I am a quick witted, humorous, deep, and passionate person who loves a conversation that holds all those qualities. When I’m not chatting with friends, you can find me playing D&D and board games where I get to engage in creativity and my appreciation

for the fantastical gets to make an appearance. When I have the time, I also like to play video games and watch shows like New Girl and Over the Garden Wall. Exploring new worlds and creating and analyzing characters are things that intrigue me and give me an outlet for play.

Other ways I help care for and express myself are through prayer, writing poetry, painting, and just about anything that gives me a good laugh.
